90 in 90 – challenge for me and my students

Quick post here to make an announcement.

One of my students took on Brad King’s 90-in-90 challenge, which has someone blogging every day for 90 days. Then she started to wrestle with it a bit; what if it wasn’t worth blogging about?

Nonsense. She’s a great writer and blogging is a way for her to unleash those skills, to learn and grow. Confidentially, I think she’s one of the better writers I’ve ever had in a class. Actually that’s not confidential. She needs to know she has supporters, but more to the point she needs to realize at some point that you write for you; the fans will come. (more…)
